It was founded in Palermo in 1998 with the aim of having a sales point in the Sicilian capital that would offer customers a showcase of the products of the most renowned ceramists of Caltagirone.
The vocation for ceramics of the city of Caltagirone is already written in its very name of Arab origin: Qal'at al Ghiràn or 'Rocca dei Vasi'.
Over the centuries, Caltagirone has become a production center for ceramics, which have acquired, in their own right, artistic dignity, now recognized internationally.
Each individual artifact, signed by the author, is accompanied by a certificate that attests to its originality, provenance and craftsmanship.

Matafiri was born from the passion of Angelo Cincotta , when he moved from Palermo to Bologna where he discovered the beauty of leather processing and in particular of the leather which through its technical properties and its undisputed and iconic scent lead him to arouse in him the desire to deepen the processing techniques.
The term Matafiri derives from the phrase "Ma ta firi?", as a provocation which in Palermo dialect means "Are you able to do it?".
This was precisely the phrase that led Angelo to start this challenge with himself and to start the passion for leather which over the years has transformed into the MATAFIRI brand, because it is precisely from the challenges that the desire to create their passions and make them come true.
From embossing to burin, engraving and chisel, from painting on leather to modeling masks, MATAFIRI turns its gaze to a tradition rediscovered and renewed to offer a truly unique product designed specifically on the customer's desire for the most special requests.

Ours is a brand and a production path that develops on the sustainability of the raw materials used, with a responsible perspective of reuse and post-consumption, making sure that the production do not exploit the environment and the human resources used.
We use materials that would otherwise have already completed their production cycle, residues from a voracious supply chain that would have forgotten them or destined for waste, and new materials, sometimes reinvented, the result of sustainable and certified production.
We Coccadoro women wish to promote social change initiatives and raise awareness and inform on social and environmental processes and issues, financing and supporting projects and activities that deal with gender, environment and education.

Archigiana objects are unique pieces that arise from the desire to combine design with craftsmanship. The materials used are leather, eco-leather, wood joined through a gluing and nailing process . Different decoration techniques are then applied to the wooden parts such as inlay, decoupage and the use of the leather itself. Traditional techniques are reinterpreted according to a modern and original taste through a high design project research, giving the final product an unique and unmistakable style.
To make it even more unique, it is possible to customize your accessory on request in the choice of sizes, colors and models or simply by adding your name.

Time space is a container of emotions that we translate into unique objects. We are 4 women, very different but with the same desire to create what makes us feel good. Cristina Ferrara and Guendalina Di Vita curates the "Isola Fotografia e Design" project. With them, through the photo, the Sicilian vegetation, the ancient majolica, the urban landscape and its architecture, are transformed into jewels, lamps and accessories to wear. Alessandra Gennaro has the imagination of a child and the skills of an expert cabinetmaker. He is unbeatable with wood: he creates elegant paladins, games for children, chessboards and everything that his fervent imagination suggests. Manuela Baldanza is "Wolla Design", she likes challenges, which is why she designs furniture that does not take up space and lamps that do not fall off the bedside table to transform old toys into luminous sculptures that she calls "animal lamps". Within our small "space" we host "in time" other artisans who share dreams and passions with us.

Anna makes contemporary jewels mainly in brass, playing on the natural predisposition of this metal to oxidative processes. Each piece is unique and entirely handmade.
Anna's jewels are entirely created by hand. The privileged metal is brass, a "poor" material but extremely versatile because it is transformed through oxidative processes, creating unique colors. Anna has created limited edition permanent collections that she continually enriches with the production of unique pieces . Each piece is made entirely by hand and this guarantees its uniqueness and originality. Currently it carries out its activity in Palermo

ROOPPA (from the Sicilian: knots, weaves) is a Sicilian brand of accessories for the person and for the home, made with fingers and arms (finger and arm knitting) which, if necessary, become knitting needles, crochet hooks, shuttles and looms with which and within which wefts and ropes are generated.

In 2008 Laura and Francesco had an intuition contrary to the idea of a standardized and homogeneous production. their idea was to go back to the old principles and standards of craftsmanship. La Borsa del Pellegrino seeks to rediscover the traditional tools of the trade and to help rediscover the idea of what work in a city can be.
We hope that everything what we do, produced by hand, has a spirit, an identity, a meaning; and we work to create unique pieces that reflect who we are as human beings. We work patiently on the details and we like to think of our bags as inseparable companions.
Our name was inspired by the image of a modern pilgrim, a wanderer with open eyes who looks at the world with curiosity and a desire to discover.

The Scherma workshop opens in the heart of the city of Palermo, inside the suggestive fifteenth-century scenography of Palazzo Pantelleria, the pulsating center of silversmith's goldsmith craftsmanship. in a place, a place that will welcome the knowledge and experience of Francesco himself, which he acquired over the long years of apprenticeship in various artisan realities in Palermo. The Scherma workshop is a place where it is possible to see different artifacts made in different materials such as: terra cotta, plaster, bronze, silver, brass, copper and plaster, sculpture, jewelery design and creation of Sicilian puppets.

Shoppa is born a few steps from the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, an artisan laboratory, a meeting point for creativity.
Recovery, tradition and innovation are combined, inside of our space, in search of a balance that aims to offer unique and original creations. In addition to In.stabile and Periperi design, the two key brands of the laboratory, the collections of other artists / artisans will be periodically hosted for a proposal diversified and high-quality in the fashion, furniture and design sectors.

Rua Ceramicart by Rosalia Agnello is a small craft shop located in the historic center of Palermo, a stone's throw from the beautiful Piazza San Francesco d'Assisi, where you can find the artisan who produces her ceramic products.
