Villa Resuttano Terrasi

Villa Resuttano Terrasi in Palermo: Visit the Baroque Frescoes by Vito D'Anna

Welcome to Villa Resuttano Terrasi, one of the most impressive noble residences in the Piana dei Colli.
Although now surrounded by the modern city, the villa preserves its 18th-century charm.
Built by Federico di Napoli, Prince of Resuttano, the residence reaches its artistic peak in the grand ballroom.
Here, you can admire the masterpiece by Vito D’Anna, "The Triumph of Arts and Sciences" a cycle of frescoes signed and dated 1762, which beautifully dialogues with the refined stucco work by the Milanese artist Carlo Sermini.
The tour will lead you through the elegant enfilade of rooms on the piano nobile (main floor), to the prince's bedroom with its ancient alcove, and onto the terrace overlooking the inner courtyard, dominated by a majestic staircase made of Billiemi stone.
The visit is enhanced by an exclusive sound experience curated by Davide Di Paola, which will accompany the contemplation of the frescoes with harmonic 432Hz frequencies, for a total immersion in art and history.
