A hidden place waiting to be discovered
In the heart of Palermo, Caffetteria Bonocore was created as an elegant meeting place where culture, taste, and hospitality blend together amid the beauty of the historic center.
History and Architecture
Located inside Palazzo Bonocore, built in the 16th century in the Kalsa district, the café occupies a building that tells five centuries of history.
Surrounded by the Fontana Pretoria, Palazzo Pretorio, and the Church of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, the palace combines elements of late Mannerism and 19th-century Neoclassicism inspired by Milan’s Teatro alla Scala.
The connection with Palazzo Bonocore
As part of the cultural enhancement project promoted by CoopCulture, the café represents the convivial heart of the palace, animated by exhibitions, events, and artistic initiatives open to the public.
