Library of Sicily's Churches
The Central Library of Sicily's Churches at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sicily "San Giovanni Evangelista" in Palermo , officially established on September 14, 1981 Arc. Paper. Salvatore Pappalardo and settled in the historic headquarters of the Seminarium Clericorum.
The building, whose construction was promoted by Archbishop Cesare Marullo in 1583, was built by the architect Giorgio Di Faccio and was already finished in 1591, embellished inside also by a harmonious colonnaded atrium. Extension and superelevation works were carried out several times, in the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries.
Today the Library is supplied by a total patrimony of approximately 165,000 publications, which are continuously growing and updated; among these, there are more than 1,000 periodicals. The typology of the collections favors the theological , biblical and philosophical disciplines, but also philological and historical ones, with particular regard to Sicily .

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
